Phentermine is an FDA approved appetite suppressant that has been used in medical weight loss for decades. It works differently than GLP-1 medications. Rather than slowing digestion, it reduces hunger and food preoccupation, which makes the changes you are making to your eating and activity easier to hold onto. At Skin Deep RX, phentermine is not handed over as a standalone prescription. It comes with the same structure we build around every weight loss patient: body composition tracking, ongoing medical supervision, lifestyle guidance, and adjustments as your progress and your needs change. Phentermine is not the right fit for everyone. Your provider will review your health history, blood pressure, and cardiac risk factors before starting treatment, and will continue to monitor you throughout. If phentermine is not appropriate for you, or if your progress stalls, we will talk through your other options rather than leaving you without a next step. Phentermine is $150 per month. That price covers your visit, and it does not change as your treatment is adjusted.
